I absolutely love newborn sessions, so I was thrilled when asked to photograph this brand new little one! We started outside with some family portraits and moved inside to get a little more comfortable. This little guy forced me to get creative since he was too excited to sleep…he didn’t want to miss a thing! He had his eyes open 90 percent of the shoot! Regardless of his curiosity, we managed to get some really precious shots.
Little “C” made a mad escape at one point, but grandma was right there to reign him back in.
We proceeded to the “brother shots”, but that was easier said than done. 2 year olds are quick 🙂
We almost got some….
barely got others….
but I consider these all successful attempts when your result is a smile like this:
Had to grab this one fast before big brother was one the move again.
mom gave me a little more time 🙂
While that changing table was actually being used for its intended purpose, I had a little fun on the floor…
with this sleepy little guy
and just to give you a little taste of what I have of the baby….
Yes, he really is only 6 days old, holding his head up like that!!
And I’ll leave you with some baby parts, just because they are so stinkin’ cute!
There are so many more images that I would like to share, so stay tuned for part 2!!

I know The Smiths are anxiously awaiting a look at some more pictures, so without further ado…
Did I mention this place had lots of character?
I snuck into a little cabin and watched Jennifer transform
…into a stunning bride!
You could feel the excitement as we waited for the ceremony begin
It was about this time that I absolutely fell in love with her hair piece. It was made of the same lace that was on her dress and a vintage pin.
Check out the back of this dress….Gorgeous!
Mom, making sure the coast is clear
It’s time!
Mr. and Mrs.!!!
And you know I love some good detail:
And just in case you were starting to wonder if I can take just a plain, good ole’ portrait, well…
I can.
In fact, I took a few more too..
Oh yeah, and just a few more just for the sake of cuteness:
I have so many more that choosing only this many to share was tough!

A couple of weekends ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a small wedding outside of Nashville, Tennessee. All the wedding festivities took place at this little bed and breakfast called Evins Mill.It had such a quaint elegance about it…
The details of the setting really made the day that much more special
And, of course, there was a dashing groom
And a beautiful bride
Aren’t I so mean to give such a small little sneak peek?!? Just keeps you coming back for more in what will have to be a (I have a ton great images I want to share) multi-post series!!

I’m finally done with all the pictures from little J’s session. There are about twice as many images as I normally do, but that’s because in addition to his session, we also did a “mini session” with his daddy. I know the amount will make it even harder for his mom to decide on which ones to get! This little boy was a dream to shoot. He is so stinkin’ cute and photogenic!

We headed out to Mississippi College campus on a extremely unseasonably warm day last Friday to get some pictures of little Jackson. His grandmother and I chased him around to see where he wanted to go next. I could not have asked for a sweeter and more cooperative subject and the images that were captured prove it! I am so excited to share all of these, but for now, here a just a few…

I had the pleasure of photographing my husband’s nieces and nephews over Thanksgivng. It always makes for a fun shoot when you have such cute subjects!
Grant waited so long for a little brother, so now he is making up for some lost time.
Sweet baby Luke
I even managed to grab a quick portrait of Yaya and the grandchildren before lunch
